Everything buyers ask us before their first shipment — landed cost, escrow, shipping modes, and delivery.
CIF stands for Cost, Insurance, and Freight — the vehicle's FOB price plus ocean freight and cargo insurance to your destination port. It does not include destination-country import duty, which our calculator estimates separately since duty rates and local fees vary by country.
Once you accept a formal quote, your payment is held by a neutral third-party escrow account, not released to the seller. Funds are only released after you confirm the vehicle has arrived and matches its listed condition, so you're never wiring money directly to an unverified seller.
A sealed container offers maximum protection from weather and handling, and is typically preferred for higher-value or lower-mileage vehicles. RoRo (roll-on/roll-off) is usually faster to schedule and lower cost, since the vehicle is driven directly onto the vessel. Both options are priced live in our shipping calculator.
Instead of picking the vehicle up at the destination port yourself, we arrange final-mile delivery straight to your address after customs clearance. You can add it as an option in the shipping calculator, which will show the exact delivery fee for your destination country before you request a quote.
Timelines vary by route and shipping mode, but generally: inspection and export documentation take about a week, ocean transit runs a few weeks depending on the origin and destination ports, and customs clearance adds a few more days on arrival. Every order has its own tracking number, emailed to you and shown in your account. Enter it on our Track Order page at any time, from the comfort of your home, to see where your car (or cars) is — we update it at every stage.
Because your payment sits in escrow until you confirm the vehicle, you're not obligated to release funds if it doesn't match the condition described in the listing. Contact us immediately with photos and details and we'll work with you to resolve it before any escrow release.
Once your payment is confirmed and your order is prepared, we create a tracking number for it and email it to you; it also appears in your account. Open the Track Order page on our website, enter the number, and you will see every stage — inspection, export documents, shipped, in transit, arrived, customs and delivered — with locations, the vessel and the estimated arrival date. Each order has its own tracking number, so if you buy more than one car you can follow each one. You can also find an order with your order reference and email.
Send us a message and we'll get back to you directly.
