1. Compare the landed cost, not the advert price
A cheap car with expensive freight, or in a high-duty country, can cost more than a dearer car. Always compare the landed cost. The calculator shows it for your country.
2. Check the battery health
The battery is the most valuable part of a used electric car. Look for the battery health percentage, which we show on every listing, and ask for the inspection report. Be careful with a price that is far below the rest of the market.
3. Check the age and the mileage against your country's rules
Many countries limit the age of imported used cars. A car that is too old cannot be registered, however cheap it is.
4. Check the charging plug and the steering side
A cheap car with the wrong plug or steering side is no bargain. Both are shown on every listing.
5. Protect your payment
Never pay a stranger. At Global EV Link you pay only into the designated Regional Agent bank account for your region, and the money stays there until you have received the car. Read our guide on buying a car from abroad safely.
6. See the cheapest cars in stock
See our current cheap electric cars for export, sorted from the lowest price, or browse by budget: under $20,000, under $25,000 and under $30,000.
